If you live in a hard water area, you will see signs of the problem daily. The most obvious are scaled up kettles and taps, blocked showers, unsightly limescale deposits on ceramics, sinks and baths - the list is endless.

However, some of the hidden effects of limescale deposits cause greater concern: blocked and furred up pipes and scaled heating elements in hot water cylinders, dishwashers and washing machines, which rapidly become less efficient and require greater maintenance.

Skin irritations like rashes and dryness are aggravated by calcium and it becomes necessary to use greater quantities of soaps, detergents and shampoos to ensure reasonable lather.

After fitting the ScaleWizard, lime scale deposits will gradually disappear, due to the electronic signals applied to the water flow. In simple terms, the electronic field changes the structure of the calcium crystals which now lose their ability to "stick together" or bond to other surfaces.
